All the miners blocked in a career in the Krasnoyarsk Territory were evacuated

Rescuers evacuated all 154 miners blocked in Vostochny’s career in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexander Yakimov, a representative of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, told Interfax .

According to him, 154 miners were evacuated by 15:15 in Moscow, the work ended on schedule. The prosecutor’s office, in turn, began to verify compliance with safety rules in the mine.

The blocking of workers became known on the morning of May 23. According to preliminary data, groundwater washed the walls of the mine. Due to the collapse of the rock, the miners were blocked.

Soon after, rescue work began. The victims or dead were not reported.
