The winners of the Docker film festival were announced
© Docker 2016On May 24, at the Moscow Cinema Karo 11 October cinema, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the II International Documentary Film Festival “Docker” was held.
40 films from 33 countries participated in the festival, they competed in several competitions. Three compositions of the jury were evaluated, each of which awarded awards in several nominations.
The Grand Prix of the festival was divided by two paintings: “Lenin Park” ((Mexico-France-Cuba) Carlos Mignon and Izian Limans and “Walnut tree” (Pakistan) Ammara Aziza.
The prize for the best directing of the jury chaired by Pirio Honcasalo (Finland) awarded the film “Earth from thousands of palaces” (China) Song Ting and Adam James Smith. The best short film was Anna Shin’s painting “My Enemy, My Brother” (Canada), who won many awards at various film festivals and included in the Oscars-2016 short list. The Russian film by Vladimir Golovnev “Two childhoods” was awarded the special mention of the jury.
In the competition “Let it Dok” , where they showed films about information technology, the award and sponsorship prize of 100 thousand rubles received the film “Retranslation of a Dream” (Great Britain-Germania-Autria) Manu Luksh, Martina Reinhata, Tomasa Toda. The prize of the audience sympathy is awarded to the picture of Ernesto Cabeoos Damian “The Daughter of the Lake” (Peru-Bolivia-Niserland).
