In Feodosia, the FSB officers on the eve of the exam summoned boys from the ninth grade with the Crimean Tatar language of school No. 15 in the village of D at the “conversation” of the ninth grade (Bai Bugaa). This was reported by the Crimean Tatar newspaper AVDET with reference to the parents of schoolchildren.

The students were called into the office one at a time with their parents and asked questions about how they spent the May holidays. In particular, the children were asked if they put on St. George ribbons on May 9, where they wore and why they shot. In addition, the FSB officers were interested in whether there were cases of insulting students at school, whether anyone offended.

To the questions of the parents, why the conversations were launched precisely in the Crimean Tatar class, the FSB officer replied that they had a planned event and supposedly interrogate everyone. Parents are concerned about the “conversation”, because tomorrow the exam should take place, and the children are stressed the day before.

On October 5, at school No. 15 of teachers working in classes with the Crimean Tatar language, local activists congratulated their professional holidays. During the event, the students launched the national flag of the Crimean Tatars.

Immediately after the annexation of Crimea, Russian security forces began to show increased attention to educational institutions. On June 24, the security forcessearched the Hafiz Madrasah (Koran Verkhuna School) in the village of Kolchugino (Bulganak) of the Simferopol district of Crimea. On August 13, searches took place at once in three Madrases of Simferopol.

On September 9, 2014, two Russian security forces in civilian clothes searched in the Crimean boarding school for gifted children in the village of Tankovo ​​Bakhchisarai district. According to teachers, the visits deliberately rushed to the gymnasium library and stated that they found three Islamic books there from among the extremist materials included in the federal list of extremist. According to the results of the search, an administrative protocol was drawn up. Teachers noticed that these books are not listed in the library fund, and expressed confidence that the security forces put them themselves.

Visiters also ordered students to take off their objects with Crimean Tatar national symbols. According to parents, the children were scared.
