At the same time, he emphasized that the popularity of the new airport will largely depend on its operating conditions. “It all depends on what benefits and tariffs you offer our passengers. They will vote with money,” the head of the Cabinet of Ministers summed up.

The airport development program, consisting of three stages, began back in 2014. As part of the first stage, a passenger terminal was built by the throughput of four million passengers a year. In addition, the first stage provided for the expansion of the road to the airport to four lanes and the construction of parking lots, the agency notes.
The second and third stages suggest the expansion of the first passenger terminal and the construction of the second. According to the results, the total area of terminals should amount to about 60 thousand square meters, and the throughput grows to 12 million passengers per year.
Zhukovsky Airport is the most remote airport from Moscow. The road will take at least an hour to him. Passengers are invited to get to the railway station, and from there on special buses to the airport.
The Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov has already promised that the road from Moscow to the Zhukovsky and railway station will be built in 2017. “It is strategically important to ensure passenger delivery. We invest the first two billion rubles on the road that adjoins the airport and withdraws a rest to Moscow and the Rest station. According to the Interfax agency, one of the first airlines that will begin to operate regular flights from the new airport, will be the Kyrgyz Air Kyrgyzstan, the first flight is scheduled for June 20. In addition, at the opening ceremony, the Director General of Ramport Aero, which is the chief investor and operator of the airport, Thomas Vaishville signed transportation agreements with three more airlines: Kazakhstan SCAT, SKAI Gates Eirines and Aviastar-Tu.
