
60% of Russians do not want to open their own business, are evidenced by the results of the survey "their business: today and 25 years ago" , published on Monday by the All -Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM). In 1991, there were 49%of them.
The survey was conducted on May 14-15, 2016 among 1,600 people in 130 settlements in 46 regions, edges and republics of Russia.
Every fourth (34%) respondent claims to become entrepreneurs today (in 1991, 29% of respondents reported this).
At the same time, among those who expressed a desire to open their own business, only 17% of respondents are already taking some actions for this, another 33% promise to begin the implementation of this in the near future.
Among young people, 60% of respondents are ready to open their own business, among people of retirement age - 6%. The share of complicated response decreased markedly (from 20% to 3%).
Sociologists note that over 25 years, the level of optimism has doubled regarding the success of a business carrier. Thus, 71% of potential entrepreneurs (planning to start their own business and are already engaged in any actions for this) hopes that the plan will succeed (in 1991 only 35% were inclined to this).
The most common opinion is that for good luck in business, first of all, money is needed - 34%, 27% note the importance of personal qualities, and 23% - connections and dating. At the same time, existing businessmen say that the entrepreneur needs personal qualities (45%) and useful acquaintances (27%) for success.
