The Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk Region asked the State Duma to transfer the region to another time zone. Now the difference with Moscow in Novosibirsk is three hours. The deputies want to make it so that there are four hours of difference. The corresponding initiative is located in the State Duma base. On May 29, the Tomsk region had already moved to a new time zone, transferring the arrows an hour ahead.
In the explanatory note to the project, it is noted that due to the abolition of the seasonal transition to the winter and summer time, the daily account in the region has ceased to coincide with the natural rhythm of the change of day and night. "Light day begins long before the awakening of a person (in the summer months - at 3-4 hours), and the entry occurs so early that most of the afternoon, when a person returns home from work, falls on the dark."
If the initiative is supported at the federal level, the Novosibirsk region will probably switch to a four -hour difference with Moscow on the night of July 3.
In 2016, the authorities changed the time zone in eight constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Among them are the Magadan, Astrakhan, Ulyanovsk, Sakhalin and Tomsk regions, the Trans -Baikal Territory, Altai Territory and the Altai Republic.
