A resident of the Chechen village of Kenkhi, Ramazan Dzhalaldinov, who had previously recorded a video message to Vladimir Putin, apologized to Ramzan Kadyrov for this. “I apologize to Ramzan Akhmatovich. It was my mistake, for which I am ashamed,” he said in an address shown by the Grozny TV channel (quoted by Interfax).

According to Jalaldinov, he plans to live in Kenhi with his family. The appeal claims that the Chechen tried for several days to contact Kadyrov, for which he turned to the Dagestan religious figure Khasmagomed Abubakarov, a friend of Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov. Dzhalaldinov has already returned to Chechnya, he will be home on Tuesday, the Kenkhi administration told agencies. “He will be provided with all the necessary assistance in repairing and restoring the house,” the agency’s interlocutor explained.

Ramzan Kadyrov commented on Dzhalaldinov’s apology, noting that it is common for any person to make mistakes. “The most important thing is not to consciously take the wrong path. An intelligent person, realizing that he was wrong in something, admits it and takes the path of truth. From the first day I clearly understood that some unhealthy forces were trying to use the resident of the village of Kenkhi, Ramazan Dzhalaldinov, for their own dirty and very unseemly purposes. They launched a psychological and information attack to intimidate him, to convince him that there was a real threat to his life and the safety of his family. They sought to force him to leave his native Chechnya and move to the West,” he wrote on his Instagram. Kadyrov also noted that Dzhalaldinov, like other residents, will be provided with the necessary assistance and support. “No one will ever show him the care that they will have in Chechnya,” Kadyrov concluded.

A resident of Kenkhi complained about the Chechen authorities in a video message to President Vladimir Putin.
