Today, May 31, law enforcement officers with events at the State Center for Contemporary Art (HCSI) in Moscow.

This was reported by Interfax with reference to a source in the HCCSI, claiming that searches are carried out with the intention of finding the connection of the leadership of the HCSI with the "Restorers' business." There have been no comments on the GCS and law enforcement agencies.

On March 16, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Grigory Pirumov was arrested in the case of the theft of state funds allocated for restoration work at cultural heritage sites. Other Ministry officials and heads of construction enterprises who were engaged in restoration are also held in the case.

GCSI was established by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in 1992. This is a museum-exhibition and research organization, the activities of which are aimed at developing modern domestic art in the context of the world artistic process, the formation and implementation of programs and projects in the field of contemporary art, architecture and design in Russia and abroad.

On May 25, it became known that by order of the Ministry of Culture of the GCSI, he joins the State Museum and Exhibition Center of Rosiso as a structural unit. On May 27, the former General Director of the HCSI Mikhail Mindlin was appointed director of the Central Museum of ancient Russian culture and art named after Andrei Rublev.
