On May 30, the Vologda Regional Court reduced by five days the term of arrest for Yevgeny Domozhirov, leader of the Vologda branch of the Progress Party, sentenced to 10 days of arrest under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The politician announced this on his Twitter.
On May 26, Domozhirov was sentenced under Part 2 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - to 10 days of arrest, according to Art. 19.3 - by 5 days . Previously, it was erroneously reported that he was to serve 15 days under arrest, however, according to a court decision, the punishment under Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses absorbed the punishment under Art. 19.3. Accordingly, after the reduction of the term of arrest under Art. 20.2 to 5 days, Domozhirov was released on May 30 in the evening.
