According to the source of Life.ru in the Ministry of Culture, the investigation connects them with the case of the theft of state funds allocated for restoration work at cultural heritage sites. In this case, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Grigory Pirumov, other ministers of the Ministry of Culture and leaders of construction enterprises who were engaged in restoration were arrested .
