Mikhail Mindlin was interrogated after searches in the GTSIS

On Tuesday, May 31, the law enforcement officers detained and interrogated the former General Director of the State Center for Contemporary Art (HCSI) Mikhail Mindlin. Previously, searches were held in the HCSI in connection with the “restorers' affair”.

According to the source of Life.ru in the Ministry of Culture, the investigation connects them with the case of the theft of state funds allocated for restoration work at cultural heritage sites. In this case, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Grigory Pirumov, other ministers of the Ministry of Culture and leaders of construction enterprises who were engaged in restoration were arrested .

Earlier today it became known that searches are being conducted in the HCC. The source of Interfax in the GTSIA also connected searches with the Restorer business.

Last week, by order of the Ministry of Culture of the GCSI, he was annexed to the State Museum and Exhibition Center of Rosiso as a structural unit. Mikhail Mindlin was appointed director of the Central Museum of ancient Russian culture and art named after Andrei Rublev.
