MMKF competitive program was replenished with four films

By eight announced films of the main competitive program of the 38th Moscow International Film Festival (MMKF), four more were added. The list of participants in the main competition may be supplemented.

About this today, June 1, at a press conference in TASS , said the program director of the MMKF Kirill Razlogov.

He said that at the last moment the main competitive program includes thriller Jacob Erva “The Center of My World” ( Die Mitte Der Welt , Austria-Germania), the criminal drama of Ralston Jvever, “ Hamog , the Philippines), the Black Comedy“ Diary Mašinovo ”( Dnevnik Mašinovo , Serbia-Khorvaty) and drama Kim John Kvana “worst of women” ( Worst Woman , South Korea).

Earlier, the first eight films of the main competition were announced, shot by filmmakers from Denmark, Italy, Poland, France, Iran, Costa Rica, Brazil and Russia, which is at the festival the film of Nikolai Deling Monk and Demon.

The 38th MMKF will be held from June 23 to 30. The festival will open the new film by Sergey Solovyov “Ke-Dy”, the film adaptation of Andrei Gelasimov’s story “Paradise Found” , on the last day of the MMKF, Woody Allen’s film “ Café Society ” will be shown .

The chairman of the jury MMKF will be the Bulgarian director Ivylo Christ. The jury of the main competition will include director Ulrika Plotinger and Indian producer Randir Kapur, the eldest son of actor Raja Kapur. The jury of the short-term film contest will be headed by the French director-documentary of Tom Balmes.
