
Singer Prince died of random overdose by fentanil - a potent pain relief. Such a conclusion was made by the forensic expert, reports Associated Press.
Among other versions of the causes of death, an overdose of an opioid drug is also considered. According to the source of the agency in law enforcement agencies, the investigation is currently trying to find out if Prince opioids have been appointed a few weeks before his death.
It is also noted that in the case of the death of the singer there are the names of two doctors - family doctor Michael Todd Shulenberg and a specialist from California on the dependencies of Howard Cornfeld. The latter gave consultations to the representatives of the prince the day before the death of the singer.
On April 21, the prince was found dead in the elevator of his estate in Minnesota. The reasons for his death are established by the police.
During his career, Prince released 39 studio albums and sold more than 100 million copies of records. He received seven Grammy and Oscar for the best song for the film Purple Rain (1985), in which he played the main role.
