Leonid Yuzefovich received the “Natsbest” award

Leonid Yuzefovich became the winner of the literary award "National Bestseller" for 2016. The prize was awarded for the novel "Winter Road".

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Yuzefovich said that he himself would have voted for a person who does not yet have literary fame. “I can only hope that after this ceremony, Mikhail Odnobible will receive this fame,” said the award winner. Mikhail Odnobibl with the novel "The Queue" was shortlisted by "National Best" for 2016.

• Leonid Yuzefovich in 2001 received the National Bestseller Award for his novel The Prince of the Wind. In 2009, he won the Big Book Award for Cranes and Dwarfs.
• In addition to the novels by Leonid Yuzefovich and Mikhail Odnobible, the short list of National Best for 2016 included Eldar Sattarov's Saigon-Almaty Transit, Aglaia Toporova's Ukraine of Three Revolutions, and Maria Galina's Autochthons.
