A military plane crashed in Syria

In Syria, a military plane crashed in the vicinity of Aleppo. This is reported by Reuters with reference to the human rights group The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Which army the plane belonged to is not reported. It is also unknown what caused the crash.

According to human rights activists, the crash occurred in an area where fighting is taking place between militants of the al-Nusra Front (the organization is recognized as a terrorist organization in the Russian Federation and banned) and the Syrian government army.
