The GCSI will host the Dada festival

On Thursday, June 9, in the State Center for Contemporary Art (HCSI), the Dada festival will open in Moscow, which the GCCA holds together with the State Museum V.V. Mayakovsky.

In the center of the festival, the exhibition "Dada", reports the GTSIS . It will present the works of leading Dadaist artists and those whom they influenced: Marseille Dyushan, Max Ernst, John Cage, Yannis Kunellis, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Hans Richter, Alexei Kruchenykh, Ilya Kabakov, Hermanna Vinogradov, Andrei Monastery and many others.

The exhibition not only gives an idea of ​​the culture of Dadaism and its followers, but also immerses the audience into the world of chance, unpredictability, revealing the main semantic focus of the Dad, the natural, free behavior of a person as a counterweight to rational standards.

According to the curators of the festival Vitaly Patsyukova and Anastasia Kozachenko, it is important today to talk about dadism as “imagery, which is included in almost all integral strategies and combines acoustics, textual and behavioral forms in its structures. We can say that modern performance not only carries this tradition, but develops the main genetic codes proposed by the legendary Zurich group from Kabarev Voltaire. "

The program of the festival has lectures, performances, concerts and other events. Among them:

• The performance of the Yanko Krul Albansky play based on the play of the Russian Dadaist Ilya Zdanevich performed by students of the Moscow Art Theater School-Studio;
• lecture by the curator of the project Vitaly Patsyukov on the development of modern artistic practice from Tristan Tzara to John Cage;
• The lecture of Konstantin Dudakov-Kashuro, who will talk about how Dadaism began to reflect on art critics and art historians and what is the “Dadagi” today;
• The dialogue is Vladimir Martynov and Keti Chukhrov, where it will be about the paths of the musical composition and performing syndromes;
• Musical performance of the group "Erying Mu" and Hermann Vinogradov;
• The concert of the young experimental project “Zorki V”, at which the musicians will perform the cult motifs of guitar and electric music of the twentieth century in the author’s conceptual edition;
• The concert of the U/N Multitude group, on which musical speech will be relevant to the actual action, into the act, creating a new system of relationships with the furniture music of Eric Sati;
• The concert of the saxophonist Alexander Serechenko, where the performer will create a musical looped system using Luper; A six-hour musical promotion "Kuzlefest-4" will be held;
• A session of the simultaneous game of chess between the grandmaster and modern artists based on the party of Marseille Dyushan.
