The rooster was caught sleeping during working hours (but later it turned out that he was not sleeping)

American Fred Eaton caught his rooster sleeping in broad daylight. The bird, as seen in the video, was lying in the grass in the backyard.

Surprised, Eaton went up to the rooster and woke him up. He jumped up and ran as if nothing had happened.

The title of the video says that the rooster fell asleep during work hours. What kind of work the bird was doing is unknown.

Addendum: On Reddit, the author of the post with the video said that he "put down" the rooster in the title of the video as a joke. In fact, the rooster didn't sleep. The man deliberately put the bird on his back, and the rooster lay in this position until he was poked in the stomach.
