Ottawa resident Andy Gaudry traveled to the Canadian city of Halifax for his grandmother's 80th birthday. And he lost his pants.
On the evening of Friday, June 3, Gaudry went for a walk around the city with his cousins, whom he had not seen for a long time. “We just wandered around the city. I'm not even sure where exactly we were. Where all the bars are," he later told CBC.
Andy liked the city so much that at some point he decided to go for a walk without pants. What happened next, the man does not remember, but when he woke up, he had no idea where his trousers were.
Gaudry turned to the staff of the hotel where he was staying, but the surveillance cameras captured that he was returning without pants. Therefore, Andy wrote a post on Reddit, in which he asked for help finding pants - a wallet and a phone were left in his pockets.
The Canadian was optimistic - Andy hoped that someone must have noticed a 30-year-old man in bright pink shorts on the street. He even offered a reward to anyone who could help find the pants.
And it worked! On Monday, June 6, they wrote to him in the comments on Reddit that the pants were found and are at the hotel staff.
Getting the pants back was amazing, according to Gaudry.
