But in the last election, alternatives did not even go to the Bundestag.

The fracture in the moods of the Germans is by no means connected with economic difficulties, but the only anti -refugee policy of the arrogant Angel Merkel. And there is no light for her at the end of the tunnel: the first Nobel Prize laureates from among the current immigrants, she is unlikely to wait - all the mass of information about them strives for negativity. The main trouble is not at all in the terrorist threats associated with the advent of jihad warriors in Europe, as often stated by thoughtlessness, but in the erosion and replacement of values and life attitudes, which owes the old light to their not the most thin reputation and enviable well -being. An experienced Tibetan exile understands better than inexperienced all -knows that the point is not in the nobility of the idea, but in the lost sense of proportion, but also in the fact that it is so expressed by a Russian proverb "to a foreign monastery with their charter."

Europe has been living today for a long time. Hands do not reach in any way to outline at least some project of the future. Problems here are not called by name and do not overcome, but worried how the plague epidemics experienced in the Middle Ages. Difficulties are always temporary, always caused by circumstances independent of us. The main thing is to survive the next crisis. Here we will pass, God will give, the British referendum, and everything will be tired again. Oh? Not tired. Because three percent in any direction of the fundamental problem are not solved, except that they drive the infection under the skin. A referendum is not even a palliative solution, it is not a solution at all, but something like an instant picture from car races: something smeared, not giving an idea of speed, nor about the dynamics of movement, nor about the chances of riders. Let's go to Brexit, Grexit will come again - because with all loans and handouts in the Greek economy, nothing fundamentally changed for the better. Europe is generously served, and Putin's Greeks are welcomed. Grexit will end, Franzit will begin, Polzit, Italsit, and again Grexit, in the third circle. In a situation where integration processes are weakening, and centrifugal forces grow, to allow the migration crisis is the same as to soap the stairs. Following the rules of false choice invariably ends with a personal and public disaster

All reasons for enthusiasm are doubtful. The joy of the outcome of the presidential elections in Austria can only be explained by a misunderstanding of the nature of the people's will. The victorious majority of 0.3 percent did not vote for him, but against his opponent, trying in a single impulse to prevent the nationalist to power. But the rule based on the modest victory of the protest camp, not united by anything else, except for a strong dislike for the common enemy, is not stable and fraught with quick shocks. The very choice between the bad and the worst is false. Or, as they say in Russia, between Stalin and Hitler. There are no winning options, and to talk about who is better and who is worse is an empty matter. Both are worse.

The psychology of an intelligent voter, facing a false choice, was perfectly described by the French visitor to Michelle Welbek in the novel "Subordance". I refer to the details to the original source, but, anticipating the conclusion, I will say that the submissive following the rules of false choice invariably ends with a personal and public disaster. The French generally separately and congratulations - they will choose the president in a year. But does an angel Merkel do now all that the harsh critics demanded from her six months ago, like me ? In fairness, we must admit what he is doing. Almost all the foundations were destroyed, which were considered indestructible from the filing of a German chancellor. Inside the Schengen zone, the border is not restored only in island states. The legal right to political asylum is radically cut: from the category of absolute and the God -given, it became the category of man -made and relative. The conditions for its provision have been changed towards tightening. Where for this I had to change the constitution, it was changed with a non -rotted hand, which was previously considered unthinkable. Through the efforts of the eastern and southern wing of the EU “Balkan highway”, the Merkel, who back in April stated that such measures contradict the European spirit, now prefers to be silent or even gives out a migration flow for its success. The last legislative initiative of the German government, depriving refugees of freedom of movement and prescribing them a mandatory place of permanent stay away from fellow tribesmen, amazes its administrative inexorableness. In a word, the Chancellor works in a sweat sweat to turn Europe into the very place that, as Merkel, touchingly formulated in a television interview on February 28 this year , "will never be my homeland."

In decent countries, the culprit of rude erroneous decisions usually resign so that another politician can engage in their correction. This, in fact, is waiting for this from Merkel, two -thirds of the Germans. Probably, this would have done the politician of the format Margaret Thatcher - she, in fact, did so at one time, without even committing any tragic misses. However, the “Iron Lady”-and there is no one else to compare with the woman in Europe-most likely, it would not have brought the matter to the crisis, nourishing the innate distrust of the heartbreaking pathetics and the slightly-dimensional guidelines of intellectual kindness. But Angel Merkel is not one of those. She intends to compete for her right from the position of the Chancellor to make and correct incorrigible mistakes.

Of course, better later than never. But there are situations when later and never - this is one and the same. And later insight, and later repentance is when nothing can be changed. As my old friend used to say with a heavy sigh, when someone started talking about alternative orientations in the company: "It is too late to retrain ..."
