According to Rain, this was told by the editor -in -chief of the Revdin newspaper Gorodskoye Vesti and one of the organizers of the action Valery Belysny.
According to him, he had already agreed on the text of an appeal to the Member Publications Henry with lawyers, after which he sent a letter in which it was called to indicate in the television program opposite NTV that the channel under the guise of journalistic materials shows "distorted information or propaganda."
According to the estimates of the flameless, from 20 to 40 publications can join the action this week, and by next week their number can reach 100.
The ideological inspirer of the action was the newspaper Yakutsk Evening, which at the end of May placed a memo opposite the NTV logo that warns that the channel allows “distortions and false information”. The memo in the newspaper appeared after the release of the film "Debtors of the State Department". It stated that the newspaper received funds from foreign sources associated with the US State Department. The film also told about other media - the Tula News agency, TV -2 television channel and the Chelyabinsk Worker newspaper.
The public board of complaints about the press called the NTV film "False Donation", which used "manipulative methods of influence on the consciousness of the audience." The collegium supported the opinion of expert Svetlana Shaykhitdinova, who claimed that the NTV film is "an information product created by political technologists in order to discredit the leaders of the Russian regional media."
NTV TV channel has repeatedly released films dedicated to exposing the Russian opposition. The most scandalous were the paintings "Anatomy of Protest" and "Anatomy of Protest-2", shot in 2012. Based on the materials of the Anatomy-Protest-2, Russian law enforcement agencies opened a criminal case.
In April 2016, the film "Kasyanov Day" was released on the TV channel, based on the materials of illegal filming of representatives of the opposition.
