You might not have noticed, but there is a war going on in the Russian media market: the NTV channel against regional newspapers. This is how the conflict develops.

In March, NTV released the material " Debtors of the State Department ". It alleged that several regional media outlets, including the Yakutsk Vecherniy newspaper, received funds from sources linked to the US State Department.

Two months later, "Yakutsk Vecherniy" added a warning to the TV program that "distortions and false information" could be encountered on Russian television. The NTV and Rossiya channels were singled out separately in the note.

In early June, a group of regional newspapers decided to launch a joint flash mob against the NTV channel, stating the following note:

Be careful! Under the guise of journalistic materials on the NTV channel, you can receive distorted information or propaganda.

So far, only three newspapers have taken part in the flash mob, but next week the publishers promise to increase the number of publications.
