The Israeli and Ukrainian authorities have concluded a framework agreement on hiring Ukrainian builders to work in Israel. The document signed by the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin and the Israeli ambassador to Kyiv by Eliav Belotserkovsky will allow Israeli construction companies to hire up to 15 thousand workers in Ukraine.
According to Newsru Israel , the agreement excludes participation in the process of hiring intermediary firms, guarantees employees social rights and guarantees, fair payment, as well as the availability of medical insurance. The contract will enter into force after ratification by parliaments of both countries.
According to Belotserkovsky, Ukrainians will be involved in four profiles: specialists who work with building structures and building metals, as well as tiles and plasterers. Further, this list can be expanded. The procedure for selecting workers will be carried out jointly by Israeli and Ukrainian experts on the basis of the State Employment Service, writes Newsru.ua .
Last year, it was reported that the Israeli government approved the plan of the Cabinet for importing 20 thousand builders from China into the country. But China demanded that the Israeli authorities use the work of its citizens outside the "green line" (the demarcation line after the end of the Arab-Israeli war of 1948-1949 between Israel on the one hand and Lebanon, Syria, Transiordania and Egypt on the other.- approx. Corny ), which became a stamping stone at the negotiations of the two countries. Previously, such requirements put forward the governments of Romania and Bulgaria, but they were satisfied with oral assurances. In Beijing, they demanded that the ban be registered in the text of the agreement. So far, this issue has not been resolved.
