Aida Semenovna Vedishcheva (nee Ida Solomonovna Weiss, 75 years old) was born in Kazan in the family of Medicine Professor Solomon Iosifovich Weis and Elena Mitrofanovna Emelyanova. Aida tried to realize herself on the stage. Having met from the “voice of America” with the art of Barbra Streisand, Dayan Ross, Donna Summer, she decided to create something similar to the musical in the Soviet Union. With the Ensemble “Meloton” staged a pop -up theatrical performance “Singing Novels”, during which the musicians not only accompanied, but also acted as actors. In 1980, Aida Vedishcheva left her mother and son in the United States. After that, most of her records on the radio, as well as the notes of other emigrating singers, was demagnet.

In America, almost forty -year -old singer had to start from scratch. She entered the theater college and studied American cinema, stage and dance for four years. She earned a nurse in the evenings, sang for a Russian audience. At first she settled in New York, then moved to Los Angeles.

With time, Vedishcheva began to perform less often, but began to write songs herself. Among them - “Ballad of Chernobyl”, “Life is music”, “Christmas”, “America”, “I will return, Moscow!”.
