Nazarbayev spoke about countering terrorism education

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev told students about countering terrorism education, which allows "comprehensively analyze the situation." He recalled this, speaking in Astana in front of the students "Nazarbayev University", in connection with the attacks in Aktobe .

"This terrorist act was committed by those who wanted to plunge our country into the abyss of conflicts and a rampant of terrorism," Interfax quotes the president. He pointed to the heroism of the police and the military, calling him an example to follow youth: "They stopped terrorists and restored peace and tranquility in the country. So it will always be. We will continue our reforms, we will fulfill all the development strategies of our country. Peace, calmness, security are the most important values ​​of independent Kazakhstan."

According to him, every Kazakhstani must fight against terrorism and extremism. For this, education and horizons are needed: "In order to withstand such critical threats, you must be very educated and must understand, comprehensively analyze such a situation. Of course, such educated people will never follow such provocateurs. Therefore, you master science, technology here. You must be such citizens who will resist all negative manifestations."

He indicated that the state would try to ensure stability with "all forces", but much depends on the Kazakhstanis, "especially the young." According to the leader, "annually, 30 centers of international conflicts on interethnic, interfaith, social grounds appear in the world."

On the eve of Nazarbayev called the adherents of Salafism who attacked Aktobe - a radical "Puritan" current in Islam.

On June 5, a group of religious radicals in Aktobe attacked two arms stores and a military unit. As a result, seven people were killed: three military personnel and four civilians. Then 13 criminals were destroyed, nine were detained, six were put on the wanted list. On Friday, the special services of Kazakhstan announced the destruction of five more extremists.

A moderate “yellow” regime of terrorist danger was introduced throughout Kazakhstan, which will operate within 40 days.
