Apple brings Siri to computers

Apple announced at WWDC 2016 a new version of the operating system for computers. Now it is not called OS X, as before, but macOS.

The first system under the new name - macOS Sierra - will be released in the fall of 2016. Its main innovation will be the voice assistant Siri, which previously worked only on the iOS mobile system. With Siri, you can set reminders, open programs, type texts and search for the files you need.

In addition, macOS will support a shared clipboard with mobile devices - the user will be able to copy text or an image on an iPhone and immediately paste it on a computer.

It was also announced that the new mobile operating system iOS 10 will appear in the fall. Among the main innovations of iOS are the expansion of the functionality of the lock screen, the expansion of the functions of the iMessage messenger and the introduction of text transcripts of voice messages.
