On December 11, 2008, at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Territory, Nikita Belykh resented deputy powers in connection with the nomination of his candidacy for the post of governor of the Kirov region. The White also left the opposition movement "Solidarity".

The Kirov region of the White was headed in the midst of the economic crisis. Mass abbreviations, serious problems experienced almost all large enterprises, under threat stood the life of the single -industry towns, had to “cut” budget expenses “in the living”. The new governor began “from himself” - he abandoned the expensive SUV bought at the budget account and began to drive in a personal car, and by his first decree ordered the number of officials by 15%.

But they worked until night, traveled around the region, I read a lot of books on the history, culture of the Vyatka land and I can say that I studied it well. And the fact that I was entrusted with continuing work, what the inhabitants of the Kirov region supported me is the most important assessment, ” says Belykh.

A. Berdinsky at the Vyatka State University. In May 2011, the Historical Memory Foundation brought the accusation of plagiarism against the white. Tronin were published. According to his analysis, the accusations of plagiarism are unproven, and the indictment is biased and contains actual errors.
Direct speech
About liberalism: “ Russia needs a liberal party. Need strategically. Without liberals, the country would not have coped with any crisis over the past 20 years, including the current one, which Russia can also not cope with liberals ”
More about liberalism : “Liberalism in theory is one thing, in practice, as it turned out, completely different. To ditch the liberal, you need to send it for a year to the civil service. ”
About the decision to leave the ATP: “There is only one option - to negotiate with the Kremlin and participate in the creation of the“ correct ”liberal party needed by the Kremlin. If the party members want to engage in political activities, remain deputies at the regional and municipal levels and bring some benefit to society in this capacity, we must participate in the Kremlin project. Most likely, this is the only possible option for the party today, the only chance. And I believe that if there is a chance - at least one of a thousand - it must be used.
Only I do not see myself in this project.
I do not believe in the democratic modernization of the country from above. And I do not think that the state should rule parties. And then ... I just can't step over myself.
It was very difficult for me to make such a decision, but I made it. Today I filed a resignation and left the Union of Right Forces. ”
About the image : “There were such PR managers, they advised to pretend to be poor and sick in order to please the public. But why get ready if I am healthy and rich? ”
Pavel Zhavoronkov about Nikita Belykh : “For many Muscovites, Nikita Belykh’s confidence in their own independence is only sarcastic grin. But in Perm he also had repeatedly had to explain: “I am a boy. Your own. " And over time, his words began to relate more seriously. Some fellow countrymen believe that his rapid career in business, and then in public politics and administration, took place largely due to the fact that he early mastered the tactics of the game on a foreign field. The most diverse influential figures of Prikamye supported him, considering him their creature, and, as a rule, later turned out to be disappointed. ”
