Last night, duty officers at the memorial to Boris Nemtsov on the Bolshoi Zamoskvoretsky Bridge were once again detained.
At 3:10 am, two police cars arrived at the bridge, the duty officers were informed that a call had been received to the number “02” that a fight was allegedly taking place on the bridge. Four officers on duty - Sergey Shevchenko, Vyacheslav Zakharov and women Tatyana and Irina were taken to the Kitai-Gorod police station, where they gave explanations and wrote statements about the theft in connection with the destruction of the memorial. Around 6:30 am, the officers on duty were released, refusing to issue delivery protocols. No charges were filed under the articles of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
