On June 14, law enforcement officers detained Aleksey Salov, editor-in-chief of the Argumenty Nedeli-Krym newspaper, in Simferopol. This is reported by Komsomolskaya Pravda, citing a source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the source of the publication, Alexei Salov was on the international wanted list. In 2010, the journalist allegedly “demanded in Vladimir from a deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation 50 thousand rubles. monthly". In return, Salov allegedly "threatened to disseminate information that could cause significant harm to the deputy." As a result, 100 thousand rubles were transferred to the journalist in two months.
