Activists of the FBK and the Party of Progress were detained near the Council building

At the Council of the Federation Council in Moscow, the police detained several activists of the FBK and the Party of Progress. Leonid Volkov was the first to be detained when he warned the policeman that he was going to hold a single picket. Volkov himself wrote about this on Twitter.

“He approached the senior police officer at the SF, warned him about his intention to hold a picket.“ On the bus, ”the policeman commanded,” the report said. Together with Volkov, the activist of the Party of Progress Nikolai Kasyan was also detained.

Volkov intended to stand at the Council of Council with a poster against the reassignment of Yuri Chaika to the post of general prosecutor. “You support the seagull, support the tsapkov,” it was written on the poster.

Later it became known that the activist of the Corruption Fund, a member of the progress party, Yevgeny Zamyatin and a lawyer of the Corruption Fund Vitaly Serukanov, were also detained. All of them were delivered to the police department in the Tver district.

Later, according to Mediazona, Volkova and Kasyan were released from the department without drawing up protocols. “The report says:“ Detained for a preventive conversation, ”Volkov explained.

Vitaly Seerukanov was also released from the police department, but at the exit he was detained by police from the eagle. The activist was taken to the eagle, where he will be judged by the picket in support of Oleg Navalny, who was held in November 2015.

On Wednesday, the Federation Council reassigned a seagull to the post of Prosecutor General for a period of five years. On the eve of his candidacy for this position was recommended by the relevant committees of the Council of People's Commissars. The seagull has been the post of general prosecutor since 2006 and has been reassigned twice.

The day before, it became known that the prefecture of the Central District of Moscow withdrew from the Corruption Fund the coordination of the picket against the overpurrection of the seagull. Officials referred to the children's game "Fun Starts", which supposedly should take place at the site of the action.

Since the end of last year, the FBK has continued an active campaign against the Seagull, citing evidence testifying to the corruption of the Prosecutor General and his forensic ties.
