The Alushta City Court found City Council member Pavel Stepanchenko guilty of holding an illegal public event and disobeying the demands of police officers. This is reported by the publication "Your newspaper".
The court sentenced local deputy Pavel Stepanchenko to 30 hours of community service for an uncoordinated rally and to five days of arrest for disobeying a lawful order from police officers. After the trial, Stepanchenko was taken to a temporary detention center.
On June 4, in Alushta, the police dispersed a meeting of local residents who opposed the development of the city's embankment. On June 9, one of the detainees, Leonid Litvinchuk, was found guilty by the court of disobeying the lawful demands of the police (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and participating in an uncoordinated rally (Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and sentenced to 25 hours of community service and two days of arrest.
