Civil activist Igor Ivanov beaten

At about one o'clock in the afternoon in Korolev, civil activist Igor Ivanov was attacked by two unidentified men. Ivanov was thrown to the ground and kicked while shouting: “For the **** Savchenko! For Crimea, for Nemtsov. The attackers may be from the Caucasus, as they spoke with an accent. The activist himself announced this to OVD-Info over the phone.

Ivanov writes a statement to the police department about the attack, after which he intends to go to undergo a medical examination. He is dizzy, has a lot of bruises, and his leg hurts. He connects the attack with his active civic activities, participation in many public actions.
