The activists detained in the morning at the Federation Council, who tried to hold a one-man picket against the appointment of Yury Chaika to the post of Prosecutor General of Russia, were released from the police department without a protocol being drawn up. This was reported on Twitter by Nikolay Kasyan.

At the same time, one of the activists, Vitaly Serukanov, was immediately detained on the steps of the police department without explanation.
