“The volume of processing at Russian and foreign refineries amounted to almost 97 million tons, while the processing depth increased to 66.5% due to the large -scale program for the modernization of oil refining infrastructure,” Sechin said. “We are uninterruptedly and in full and we will realize high -quality fuel to Russian consumers, with a share of the retail market more than 20%.”
An essential event that influenced the development of the petrochemical business in 2015 was integration with one of the latest petrochemical industries located in the Samara region - the Sanors petrochemical complex, said the head of Rosneft. According to him, with the acquisition of Sanors, the company became the third largest manufacturer of liquefied hydrocarbon gas in Russia. “In the Samara region, a unique production asset has been created that ensures deep integration of oil and gas production and processing capacities with petrochemical production,” Sechin noted. - the volume of processing - up to 1 million 700 thousand tons of hydrocarbon raw materials per year. The annual synergistic effect of this transaction will exceed 20-30% of the purchase cost. ”
In addition, as part of the implementation of the Strategy to expand the presence of Rosneft in the key market in Europe, in the reporting period, it completed a transaction on the acquisition of a 16.67% of the fraction of the refinery in the German city in the German city of Swed. The company also signed a legally binding agreement on the restructuring of the joint venture RUHR OL GmbH (ROG) in Germany. After the completion of the restructuring process, which is expected at the end of 2016, Rosneft will directly become a shareholder of three oil refineries and will increase its fractions of participation, in particular, in the NPP Swedt to more than 54%, the head of the company said. “The possession of the control package in the refinery of the Swedt will provide us with the opportunity to determine the direction of development of the plant, to implement more ambitious projects in the field of increasing efficiency and thereby fix their positions on the market of the Berlin-Brandenburg region-an important direction of oil exports,” Sechin said. - Currently, Rosneft is already the largest supplier of oil to Germany, occupying about a quarter in the amount of imports.
