The picket was not quite ordinary

June 14, 2016, Tuesday. Today, the mass picket, which, as usual, we, activists of the Voronezh branches of Parnassus, Yabloko, Democracy, Solidarity and Samizdat Kramol, were not entirely ordinary.

Firstly, the Cossacks joined us, defending the Elane memorial of the Don Cossacks, located in the Rostov region. Every community has the right to its history, and no communists, no liberals or nationalists have any moral right to encroach on the holy one who is dear to the heart of the Cossacks, who survived the times of the red terror, who mowed millions of human destinies with its barbaric hand. The appeal of the Communists to the Rostov Regional Administration demanding to close the memorial and demolish the monument to the legendary General Krasnov, is very similar to those belligerent times when Bolshevism destroyed dissenting dissent, destroyed the church, shot hundreds of thousands of disagreed and protesters. It is time to stop these delusional creeps of ignorant “red people”, and not to allow them to mock them over other people's beliefs and dignity.

Secondly, we conducted a blitz-poll today for honest elections today if they took place, for example, today. This event was attended by 354 people. In the voting ballot, 14 different parties were indicated, and three such items as “spoil the ballot”, “not yet decided”, “I will not go to vote”.

According to the results of the vote, the communists of Zyuganov scored 28%, 17, 8% - “United Russia”, 8.2% - Zhirinovites, the same amount - “Fair Russia”, “Yabloko” crossed the 5 percent barrier, its result - 5.9%, Parnassus received 3.1%. Those who did not decide how they will vote and those who will not go to the polls made a very solid percentage - 17.
And this is serious. Seriously for the authorities, which, in the person of such a voter, has a challenging distrust.
