The Ukrainian national team lost the second match at Euro 2016 in a row

The Ukrainian national team lost to Northern Ireland in the second round of the Euro 2016 group stage. The match ended with the score 0:2. In the first round, the Ukrainians lost to Germany with the same score.

The match as a whole was held with the territorial and gaming advantage of Ukraine. In the first half, no goals were scored, and at the very beginning of the second, Gareth McAuley scored - he scored a goal with a header after a free-kick.

Almost immediately after that, the match was interrupted due to hail - the teams went into the under-tribune room for several minutes. The game resumed with attacks from Ukraine, but in the end the team did not score. In stoppage time, Northern Ireland's second goal was scored by Niell McGinn.
