An hour after the start of the picket, the women were taken to the Vishnevsky police station, where protocols were drawn up on an administrative offense under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.

Yesterday, the court, having removed the writing press from the hall before the trial (after complaints to the chairman of the journalists, they were finally allowed back in), found the women guilty. Manokhin and Mingaleeva were each fined ten thousand rubles, Ledyaeva, as a mother of two children, five thousand. In the ruling, the judge referred to Part 1.1 of Article 7 of the Federal Law “On Meetings, Rallies, Demonstrations, Processions and Pickets”, which states that “a set of acts of picketing carried out by one participant, united by a single plan and common organization, may be recognized by a court decision as one public event."
