
The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation is developing amendments that may allow the sale of products, alcohol and drugs through the Internet, Izvestia write.
Amendments are prepared on behalf of the first deputy chairman of the Russian Cabinet of Council of Igor Shuvalov. The ban on the sale online can be removed from a part or from all relevant goods.
The Ministry of Economic Development said that the promotion of distance trade can positively affect the level of competition and the development of small and medium -sized enterprises. The department also said that market participants proposed allowing the sale of jewelry through the Internet.
Earlier it was reported that the expenses of Russians in foreign online stores for the first quarter of the current year by 106% exceeded a similar indicator.
