Actor Anton Yelchin died in a traffic accident

Actor Anton Yelchin died in a car accident in the United States. He was 27 years old.

The death of the actor was reported by his representative.

TMZ, citing law enforcement, writes that the actor was run over by his car, which, apparently, was parked on a slope and rolled down when Yelchin went outside.

• Anton Yelchin was born in 1989 in Leningrad, the same year his family moved to the United States. He began acting in films and television in 2000. Fame brought him the role of Pavel Chekhov in the films "Star Trek" and "Star Trek: Retribution".
