Actor Anton Yelchin died

On June 19, as a result of an accident in California at the age of 27, an American film actor of Russian origin Anton Yelchin died.

According to Reuters , citing the police of the city of Berbank, where Yelchin lived, he was found dead at the entrance to the garage of his own house. The cause of death was the injuries received by the actor when he got out of the car and he, rolled back, pressed him to the brick wall.

Anton Viktorovich Yelchin was born in Leningrad in 1989, in the same year his family moved to the United States. Since the late 1990s, he began to act in television series, tried to the role of Harry Potter, in 2007 he entered the University of South California at the Faculty of Dramatic Art.

The most famous acting works of Yelchin became the role of Kyle Riza in the film “Terminator: May the Savior come!” ( Terminator Salvation , 2009) and the role of Pavel Chekhov in the 11th film of the Scientific and Fantastic franchise "Star Trek" ( Star Trek , 2009).

In the same role, the actor starred in the following films “Star Way” - “Starting: Retribution” ( Star Trek Into Darkness ? 2013) and “Startre: Infinity” ( Star Trek Beyond ), which is released in July 2016.
