AvtoVAZ agreed to increase the salary of not fired workers

AvtoVAZ leaders and trade union representatives agreed to increase wages to employees by 6% - from July 1 of the current year. According to the company’s official website, this indexation will not affect the top management.

The President of AvtoVAZ Nicolas Mor noted that in the current economic situation, this decision is a serious step for the plant.
“This is more than we planned initially, but we feel responsible for preserving our team and ensuring social stability in the city. I am sure that this decision will help our employees and support their family budget,” Mor said.

In turn, the chairman of the primary trade union organization "AvtoVAZ" Sergey Zaitsev thanked the management of the enterprise for a constructive approach to joint work.

Recall that at the beginning of this month, AvtoVAZ announced that he was opening a “window of opportunities” for employees, offering everyone to voluntarily leave until June 15, receiving up to five middle salaries. According to Volga News , no more than 200 employees took advantage of this proposal.

As specified at the enterprise, today the number of employees of AvtoVAZ is at the level of 43.5 thousand people.

We add that a year ago the company raised the salary to all employees by 6% and even paid a summer bonus.
