
The Russian Air Force successfully experienced the near-acting missile defense missile system, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The test was carried out at the Sarah-Shagan training ground in Kazakhstan. It was attended by the troops of the air defense and missile defense of the VKS. The purpose of the tests was confirmation of the tactical and technical characteristics of the anti-tank.
The deputy commander in chief of the VKS, Viktor Gumeny, who arrived at the training ground, positively appreciated the launch results. According to him, the missile defense system successfully completed the task, amazing the target at the time.
Earlier, the submarine of the Russian Federation "Stary Oskol" successfully launched the Caliber winged missile, which was used last fall to hit the positions of militants in Syria.
