The Division of the Investigative Committee of the Soviet District of Novosibirsk initiates the case of extremism against the member of the regional council of Yabloko Svetlana Kaversina on the denunciation that she submitted to herself. The activist reported this on her VK page. The qualification of the case is not specified; As we might assume, Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code will be imputed with cavity (excitement of hatred or enmity on a religious basis), which provides for the four years of the colony.

On June 1, Caversa reposted her in VKontakte a demotivator with a swearing signature depicting people who bathe in a hole in a baptism. A day earlier, for the repost of this demotivator, 21-year-old Maxim Kormelitsky from Berdsk, the suburbs of Novosibirsk, received the year of the colony-settlement (taking into account the outstanding criminal record in another case-1 year 3 months). It was declared guilty just in part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code.

The activist accompanied her repost with a comment: “I believe that there is no insult to the feelings of believers. The maximum is mat. For this, well, maybe 15 days - but not one and a half years!”

On June 9, Caversa gave a denunciation to the regional head of the Investigative Committee, demanding to check its actions for the presence of part 1 of Article 282. During the pre -investigation, the department saw the signs of a crime in the applicant’s repost.

On Wednesday, the activist visited the investigator in her case, Lieutenant of Justice Alexander Kozin. In the presence of Caversin, he took a screenshot of the publication and asked the activist to read it aloud. The obscene words contained in repost did not fall into the interrogation protocol.

In addition, Kozin asked the tricky, what motives she was guided by, placing a demotivator, and whether she was familiar with Kormelitsky. “For some reason, I asked if I was baptized, as I treat Orthodoxy,” the activist continued. “I replied that I was normally treated Orthodoxy, but the baptismal bathing seems to me some kind of wild ritual, dangerous to health.”

The interrogation lasted two hours. Then Kozin released the activist, promising to send the agenda for a new interrogation.

“I made this record not because I am well treated specifically to Kormelitsky, but because I think that it is impossible to plant people for reposts in social networks,” Kaverezina previously explained her appeal in the TFR. “It is unfair that he went to prison for repost, which hundreds of people made. They want to put people for reposts - let them try. They can start with me.”

On June 15, in Moscow, civil activists - Christians held single pickets against the sentence of Kormelitsky. Among the participants in the action were Elena Sannikova (Orthodox) and Maria Ryabikova (Catholic).
