There was a shooting in a cinema in Germany

In the city of Viernheim in western Germany, an unidentified man opened fire in a cinema.

According to Reuters, citing the Darmstaedter Echo, between 20 and 50 people were injured as a result. Bild writes that 25 people were hit by tear gas. Who sprayed the gas and under what circumstances is not reported.

Some media reports that the man barricaded himself inside. Others report that he has already been detained.
