Former head of RusHydro Evgeniy Dod arrested

The court arrested the former head of the state company RusHydro, Yevgeny Dod. He is accused of fraud.

According to the RF IC, in 2013 Evgeny Dod unlawfully accrued an extra 73.2 million rubles to himself as a bonus. Dod pleads not guilty .

Dmitry Finkel, who is the chief accountant of RusHydro, is also involved in the case. He is detained.

• Yevgeny Dod was detained on June 22. He left RusHydro in 2015, and at the beginning of 2016 he got a job at the energy company Quadra, which is owned by Mikhail Prokhorov.
• RusHydro owns most of the hydroelectric power plants in Russia. Most of the company's shares are owned by the state. Dod has a small share - about 0.11 percent.
