What do young British think about Brexita - the losing side of the referendum

On June 23, Britain in a referendum supported Brexit, the state of the state from the European Union. With a reality of 72% of the population-the highest since the beginning of the 1990s-only 48% voted to ensure that the UK remained in the EU. The losing side of the referendum, judging by the sociological data preceding the Brexit, should be considered young educated British, who advocated the preservation of the country in the European Union. At Medusa, Katerina Nikitina, a journalist from London, spoke with some of them at the request of Medusa.

They all remained overboard. Friends from all over the world live here, this morning I read about 40 messages from them that they no longer feel that they are happy here. London is a world capital of finances, many of these people work in the financial sector, pay large taxes, and this is terrible for the country that they can no longer feel here in their place. I myself came from Australia many years ago, my wife is an American, we have twins who are 21 years old, and they have three passports. Today we walked around the apartment and cried.

My business is in Europe. I do not know what will happen next to him. Everything will depend on the conditions under which the UK will agree with Europe. Frankly, the guys who won the referendum themselves did not believe that this would happen. They have no program. No one actually knows what will happen next.

I feel crushed. My country betrayed me, and this is a tragic day. To be part of the EU was such an important part of Britain’s life. Freedom of movement, travel - such an incredible privilege! Many said that the EU controls what to do, I think it was good that British politicians had to answer before other countries: they did not go beyond. How will this affect my life? They said that if we leave the EU, a lot of money will be transferred to NHS, and from this point of view, what happened should seem to be well reflected on me, but I do not believe that this will actually happen. I think that this is just not meaningful promises. The money that is allegedly saved on EU membership will be lost as a result of the general economic decline. In the hospitals we have many Portuguese and Spanish nurses; If they leave, we will simply miss the staff, and the load on medicine will become even more. Finally, the government will be able to say that NHS does not cope, let's privatize it. I think that in 10 years our medicine will no longer be free and free.

And what will happen to millions of British who live and work in other European countries? Why didn't anyone think about them?

Two days ago, we had the first child: he will be a British and Australian - according to the first passport of her husband. But with the economic one, we have an apartment here, and what will happen to her is not clear. We wanted to sell an apartment now and buy a new one, but most likely, housing prices will begin to fall, and interest on a mortgage. In terms of investment, everything will be difficult, and it will affect everyone.
