Currently, documents are being removed, documents related to the alleged By foreign financing of the organization and the implementation of the leaders of initiatives in the North Caucasus, we know that a procedural audit was carried out on the report provided for in Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code.

The fact is that Dryvatenko is the head of two non -profit organizations - the Union of Don Women, this is a regional public human rights organization, and the Fund for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights “Women of the Don”. In the manner prescribed by the Code of Administrative proceedings, we challenged the inclusion of the Don Woman Foundation in the register of non -profit organizations performing the functions of a foreign agent. In the first instance, we were refused, we filed an appeal that has not yet been considered, that is, the decision has not yet entered into legal force. And we were sure that before the decision came into legal force, there could be no question of initiating a criminal case. But we were mistaken. And the Union of "Women of the Don" is excluded from the register of NGOs that perform the functions of a foreign agent. "

If the case is initiated against Cherevatenko, this will be the first attempt to bring to criminal liability for failure to comply with the requirements of the Law on NPO - “foreign agents” adopted in Russia 2012.

Earlier, the appeal in support of Valentina Cherevatenko was signed by human rights activists from different countries. In it, in particular, it is noted that the actions of the Investigative Committee on Cherevatko are unreasonable and disliked interference in the activities of civilian organizations and violate the international obligations of Russia in the field of human rights.
