
The Board of Directors of the Deposit Insurance Agency approved an appeal to the Central Bank with a request to increase the loan volume by 180 billion rubles, the ACV report .
The current debt of the DIA to the Bank of Russia is 358 billion rubles, and the possibility of an additional loan earlier in June was admitted by the deputy head of the Ministry of Finance Alexei Moiseev.
New funds are involved in ensuring the financial stability of the deposit insurance system.
The deputy director of the agency Andrei Melnikov, speaking of a debt of 358 billion rubles, explained that this loan of the DIA should be repaid for five years. He also indicated that before the end of this period, the agency could begin to “gently, but sequentially” increase the rate of banks deductions to the compulsory deposit insurance fund (FOSV).
It is planned that in the III quarter of 2016, the rate of banks deductions to the fund will be increased from 0.1% to 0.12%.
As of October 1, 2015, the fund was 35.8 billion rubles, later data were not disclosed, but since February 2016 the minimum amount of the fund has reduced from 40–55 billion rubles to 10–25 billion rubles.
