Pushkin (Pushrooms) will present a special project of the V Moscow International Biennale of Young Art-the exhibition “inside art”, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the first X-ray picture.
X -ray study of paintings and sculptures usually remains behind the scenes of museum life. Invisible to the viewer, it replenishes the archives by pictures that reveal the secrets of creative plans and features of the process of creativity. The exhibition “Inside the Art” suggests looking at the MLMIA collection from the new side - to “get into” the works, the museum’s website reports.
The exhibition will feature X -ray pictures of the paintings of post -impressionists from the meeting of the PHMIA, as well as the work of ten young artists, united by the theme of the interaction of art and technology.
The exposition will be presented on the fourth floor of the Tsvetnoy department store, as well as in the ArtBasement gallery located on the ground floor.
Curators: Deputy Head of the Department of Art of Europe and America of the XIX-XX centuries of the Mlimerage of Alexander Danilov and the head of the workshop of technical and technological research of MLMI Julius Peteria.
Participants: Maria Agureeva, Vera Konyashova, Galina Leonova, Viktor Polyakov, Marina Ragozina, Marina Rudenko, Sofa Skidan, Jan Tamkovich, Ilya Fedotov-Fyodorov, Andrey Cherkasov.
In addition, in the framework of the project “Inside the Art”, an educational program is planned with the participation of experts of the Pushrooms, artists and representatives of youth Biennale.
