Protesting residents and journalists were detained in Gurzuf

On June 27, in Gurzuf, the police detained residents who were outraged by the transfer of the Gurovskiye Kameny beach to the Artek camp, as well as journalists. This is reported by the portal "Notes".

“The Crimean channel “Krym 24” came to our beach “Gurovskie Kameny” and interviewed local residents! Law enforcement agencies arrived and took them away to testify and explain! Is it legal?!) were also taken away by several other people who were actively giving interviews! twisted journalists for their work! the activist, who blocked the way for the “bobik” with journalists, was also put into the car,” the portal quotes the words of journalist Yekaterina Petukhova, with a link to her Facebook (the record is currently unavailable).

On the same day, about 250 residents of Gurzuf went to a rally against the inclusion of a residential area in the borders of the international children's center "Artek". The rally was held in Yalta, as the Gurzuf authorities did not give permission for it to be held. Both protests were caused by the fact that in March 2015 the borders of Artek were expanded by 10 hectares - up to 218 hectares of the total area. The residential area and one of the most popular beaches of Gurzuf "Gurovskie stones" moved to the territory of the camp, the clarifies . New Day publication
