In Crimea, the killer of a Soviet actor was sentenced to life imprisonment

The Supreme Court of Crimea sentenced 54-year-old Muscovite Yuri Grischuk, accused of murdering three people (clause “a” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code), to life imprisonment, the republic’s prosecutor’s office reports .

According to the Investigative Committee, in August 2015, while on vacation in one of the houses in the village of Partenit, after drinking alcohol, Grischuk killed three friends. Among those killed was 56-year-old Soviet film actor Andrei Voinovsky.

The man himself denied guilt, “putting forward various versions of the victims receiving bodily harm.”
