
The Buddhist community of the monastery Shad Tchup Ling on Mount Kachkanar in the Sverdlovsk region was obliged to move until August 1.
The head of the Department of the Federal Bailiff Service (UFSSP) for the Sverdlovsk Region, Vladimir Osmak, at a press conference at the Interfax agency, noted that JSC Evraz Kachkanarsky Mining and Processing Plant (Evraz KGOK) announced his readiness to help the monastery. The work is scheduled for July-August in accordance with the requirements set.
All administrative fines for non -fulfillment of the court claims imposed on the debtor - the head of the Buddhist community are paid.
As previously reported, the court decided to demolish the monastery in the summer of the year before last. The reason was the illegal occupation of a territory in federal property.
Buildings on Mount Kachkanar are located at the field of titanomagnetite ores, a license for which belongs to Evraz KGOK.
Believers were offered another place for the monastery - Mount Mokhnatka. The plant is ready to consider the possibility of assisting the Buddhists when moving. The community has been on religious activity on Mount Kachkanar for 20 years.
In March of this year, the head of the Buddhist community put forward the next requirement to enforce the court decision on the demolition of the monastery, the deadline was set until May 1. Before that, the court’s decision was to be demolished until March 1.
For failure to fulfill the claim of the court, the founder of the community was held accountable in the form of an administrative fine of 2.5 thousand rubles.
Recall that in early April it became known that the demolition of the monastery was delayed due to lack of funds. As they said then in the department of forestry of the region, in the Kachkanarsky city court the case was considered the case of postponing the execution of the court decision on the demolition of the monastery.
The department also stated that before the court decision and due to the lack of funds, they do not have the opportunity to demolish religious objects located at high altitude,
The representative of the Buddhist community Arseny Bakharev told the days of lawsuit that the monastery was founded in 1995, and the place of its construction was indicated by one of the prominent lamas of Buryatia.
